Dell 5210n Printer - This Dignified Printer Is Easy On The Bank
If you've decided that networking the Dell 5210n printer you've just bought is a good idea, you're absolutely right. This printer and the Dell Printer Toner Cartridge it comes standard with are designed for workgroup networks. This is proven by the toner cartridge's 10,000 page output capacity, the speed with which it prints pages and the list price, which at under a thousand dollars is nice for a laser printer delivering the kind of performance this one does.
How Much Can it Print? While the standard 250 sheet tray is acceptable for normal duties, you might consider adding a few optional trays to up its storage capacity. This is because it can actually hold over 2600 pages if set up right. Pair that up with its 200,000 page per month duty cycle, and chances are you won't see too much of the printer maintenance man. Indeed, the Dell 5210n acts like a team of tireless horses, pulling your print jobs along with little effort. All in all, this is a good unit for mid-size networked workgroups.
Hooking it Up. The Dell 5210n laser printer is equipped with industry standard USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet jacks, in addition to being upgradeable to optional wireless (802.11 standard) networking modes. For IT folks having responsibility for this unit's care and feeding, it should be a snap to integrate it into a network and keep it humming along.
Quality of Output. Document quality from the printer is good. With 1200dpi, there's not much to find fault with. Characters look good in black and white, and there's no bleary-looking printing on the produced document.
How much Memory? The 5210n comes standard with 64MB, which is acceptable though a bit on the low side, these days. But you can quickly and cheaply expand it all the way up to 576MB, making it a player in the high-speed, high-output laser printer field. With memory as cheap as it is, there are no worries about cost, either.
Ease of Utility. The Dell 5210n lets networked workgroups of medium size create print jobs with very little drama. At 40ppm of printed page output, there shouldn't be much waiting around for a whole print job to appear. If you duplex print, though, output drops by ten pages, to 30ppm. With all the different types of connection ports that come with the printer, finding a good way to interface with the local network should be fairly simple.
Toners and Maintenance. The Dell 5210n, like most Dell products, is set up with one year of 24/7 on-site service, if needed. That can be extended a further 4 years, for a fee. The Dell 5210n laser toner cartridge puts out 10,000 pages and optional cartridges can double that amount, which makes the Dell unlikely to see much in the way of service calls.
Summing it Up. This printer makes a good candidate for mid-size network workgroups. The Dell 5210n Printer has a wide variety of interface ports which make it easy to integrate into most any network in a short amount of time, which tends to make IT folks happy. There are also higher capacity 5210n Toner Cartridge cartridges which can put out over 20,000 pages, too. Also, the printer's toner management system will notify you via email if it starts running low on toner ink. Combined with the built-in network configuration software and the attractive case and enclosure, the Dell 5210n makes an ideal candidate for networked workgroups. I dont have photoshop or illustrator.
Okay I know the real answer to this. You don't need special graphics or anything. In Microsoft word you go to insert, then picture, and select wordart. (or there is a little button that has an A with a 3d cube and cylinder on it on the tool bar) When you get into wordart, pick the type of lettering you would like, then type what you want it to say. Once you push okay, there will be a tiny tool bar in the bottom left corner. On this task bar you can edit the shape, colors, and other stuff. To get the shape you want, click the ABC button on the little tool bar and select what you want it to look like. Follow the same steps to get the second word, and then overlap the two.
I hope that helps
