Kit-Cat Clock, Black

This great clock is striking.

It's been in families for over three Generations and remains the most loved Cat Clock. Measuring fifteen [*FR1] " Tall with Rolling Eyes and Wagging Tail. No ugly Wire hangs from the Wall. It runs on two C Batteries ( not included ). Kit Kat is famous for Quality Craftsman Made in the States. I acquired this clock for a retro-themed room I latterly redecorated. While the clock is super lovable, it does not work terribly well.

The tail and eyes stop moving all of the TIME. I will flick the tail and they are going to start again, but only work for approximately five mins before they stop again. The clock really runs fine, but the absence of movement is upsetting. I have tried all of the proposals ( tightening the tiny screw inside ), but nothing works for long. If you're purchasing this clock, probabilities are good that you are especially purchasing it due to what it is. If that is the case, then you're making a good purchase...as long as you do not care the tail and eyes will not always move. Also, this clock is a lot smaller in comparison to I was expecting. Luckily the room I acquired the clock for is little, so that the size isn't too noticable. The clock itself is awfully lovable ( a little creepy on occassion, but still cute ), and I'd have rated it higher had the tail and eyes worked like they should. I adore the clock it keeps time, but each week or so that the movement stops. I checked the site where it was made they give you a catalogue of things to test and the way to correct any issues.

They also list the explanations why issues happen. The site also states only call if you are unable to fix the problems.At that price I don't believe thats actually fair. But I like the moggy. If you'd like a clock that is tricky or even impossible to see from across the room, or one which has a tail that should swing but does not or one that is made from such thin plastic you fear it breaking when changing the batteries...then this is the clock for you. On the and side, the few times that I really got close enough to see the hands on the clock, the time was correct. It may look like the kit kat clock (black) of your youth, but it is a piece of expensively priced junk.

This item came in an efficient fashion. It was dispatched terribly well in a package that kept it safe. It worked up to a point and then I had to call the one eight hundred number. Agree with it or not, there's actually somebody from the company who answers all the questions somebody could have about this clock. He gave me fantastic info, and the clock is working in tip top fashion. We like it while it spooks out my six year old grandson! I had to draft to the company to ask why the pussy's tail failed to swing. The company was great and emailed me back to tell me I had to drag the apex of the clock away from the wall. To me, that may be a design flaw. Also, it appears lighter and more flimsy than the older ones. Still - a good company that replied to my questions and the clock is working now that I have the top tilted away from the wall.
