question about gossen lunasix lightmeter?

i have heard that the gossen lunasix light meter is a good item for the price. problem is it takes strange batteries. my question is: are there different types of lunasix 3? do they all take strange batteries? if so where can i buy these batteries and what are they called? thanks.

It's not the Lunasix line it is Gossen. I had a LunaPro years ago and same thing applied. I would spend a little more and get one of the Minolta Meter line. I have had my IV for nearly 30 years and it still works like a charm. Why hassle it'll fail at the wrong moment and then what? The WalMart across the street can't help but could if it were another more common type. Good luck
